PERSONS

Fundamental Guarantees


Civilians (in general); Captured Combatants/Prisoners of War;Captured Mercenaries and Captured Spionage; Captured Combatants that fail to distinguish themselves from civilians during the attack; The Wounded, Sick, Shipwrecked; Persons Deprived Of Their Liberty; Displaced Persons, Other Persons (civilians in spesific): Elderly, Women with Spesific Needs, Disable, Infirm, and Children

To search for, collect, evacuate and care without  adverse distinction. Pillage of their personal property prohibited


The Wounded, Sick, Shipwrecked

To search for, collect and evacuate, return the deceased and personal effects, record information for identification, mark the location of graves and respected, prevent being despoiled, no mutilation

The Dead

To account for, to provide their family members with any information it has on their fate

Missing Persons

Prisoner of  war status


Captured Combatants/Prisoners of war

No prisoner of war status, fair trail


Captured Mercenaries, Captured Spionage, and Captured Combatants that fail to distinguish themselves from civilians during the attack

Must be recorded, pillage of their personal property prohibited, provide adequate food, water shelter (remove from combat zone),  clothing,medical and hygiene attention, religious practices respected, separate man-women, child –adult except where family accomodated, allowed to receive visitor, correspond to family, release when no longer reason to be deprived

Persons Deprived Of Their Liberty

Special respect and protection

Other persons (civilians in specific): elderly, women with spesific needs, kids, disable, infirm

Not be allowed to recruit, to take part hostilities

Children

Right to return, shelter satisfactory conditions, property respected, no separation of family members.

Displaced Persons
